Home & School

The St. Francis Home and School Association is an organization through which parents/guardians can exercise their roles as co-partners with the school in the education of their children. All parents/guardians as well as the faculty and staff of St. Francis School are Home and School Association members. The Association consists of five elected parents who serve in their elected position for two years. Parents/guardians become better informed about the various areas of education involving their children at the monthly Home and School meetings.

Our Home and School Association assists St. Francis Catholic School through service functions such as classroom, library volunteer, office help, room parents, school nurse, playground supervision, health screening, special lunches, school picnics, preparation for special receptions and celebrations, school painting projects, sports, and other activities.

The Home and School Association is a great financial help to the school. Their major fundraising activities include the Annual Fall Barbecue, The Benefit For The Children Dinner/Dance, and the Annual Walk-A-Thon. These events give our school families an opportunity to come together and raise money to support our school and its mission.
